Dr. Amie Bend Graduated from Life University in December of 1996.  She recieved both her Doctorate of Chiropractic studies as well as a bachelors degree in Nutrition.    She then went on to intern in the state of Michigan where she practiced as an associate doctor and vacation relief doctor.  She then completed her National boards  and recieved  her license to practice in the State of California.  It is here where she opened her own office.
It was opened on September 28th of 1998.   The Arroyo Grande community has been very generous in recieving and welcoming Dr. Bend into its community and she is greatfull for being able to serve such a nice town.  Dr. Amie Bend is one of many chiropractors in her family line. 

Her Grandfather and Grandmother both practiced Chiropractic in the 1920's.  Chandler Samuel Bend and Hannah Katherine Bend were the first. Dr. Amie's father  Richard L. Bend Sr. then started  the next generation of Chiropractors.  Dr. Amie was the first of her three siblings to become a Chiropractor to be followed by Richard Jr., Eve, and Ronald.   They are not the only Chiropractors in our family.  Chandler Samuel was unique in that he was blind when he attended Palmer Chiropractic, he attended school with his sister Gladys Bend.  She would later marry a Chiropractor.  Richard Bend Sr.  sister Arlene was a DC as well as there cousin.
